Men's apparel is in Tom's blood. Tom's father, an owner of a men's specialty store for over 35 years, instilled the pillars of tried-and-true quality and functional design within Tom. While working for Nordstrom, Tom realized he had a flair for sales and was recruited by the Old Glory brand to market their sweaters to retailers. During his time there, Tom launched the juniors and boy's collection. By 1997, Tom founded and launched the junior apparel company Six Sweaters. Today, Tom brings an entrepreneurial spirit and unique energy to Thomas Dean & Co., where he manages design, merchandising, sales, and marketing for the company.
With nearly three decades of experience creating and manufacturing high quality apparel and footwear for Nordstrom, Dean now dedicates his extensive knowledge to the Thomas Dean & Co collection. As a Senior Manager at Nordstrom, Dean was deeply involved in major projects including Callaway Golf, Faconnable, and select Nordstrom private brands. Dean's refined understanding of shirting and the apparel industry is reflected in the quality and detail of all Thomas Dean products. Dean manages the manufacturing and material selections, community outreach, as well as the day-to-day operations of Thomas Dean & Co.
